well for a background story, my previous logitech sub blew its transformer making it more expensive to be fixed then it would cost to buy a new system. i ordered a new logitech system a month ago but fedex lost the package(the seller gave me a refund so no worries there). so, here i am, round 3:

the number one for choosing the new speakers is, of course, bass. i think my old logitech was a 200 watt amp and it dominated. my only problem with logitech is their stupid ass non remote controlled system. i would really like for my system to be remote controlled. about the only other thing i can think of needing is an input that will allow for me to switch(physically is fine) from my computer to my ps3. so basically what im describing is a home theater system. the only problem is im a cheap college student so i want to stay under $100, $125 max.

does anyone have any recommendations on a good set of speakers/sub?

uhm...good luck buddy, with $100 you'd be better off not buying speakers -- cuz you can't get anything good with only $100. Also..if you're a cheap college student, why the hell do you have a PS3? Xbox does the job for alot less.
