How would be be a settled unity as a world without any form of communication or transportation?

That would stricken war to land based fighting.
Not to mention how effective communication is to call in air strikes and create new rally points for spread out forces.

Went with transportation. It was here in the form of horse and buggy before all of these categories, and most of the categories wouldn't be useful at all without it.

i say computer, cars and planes, trains, etc. could be #1 aswell though, very hard choice.

i do not mean simply mac and pc computers

modern cars have electric starting kits, computers in themto run automatic transmition, power stearing etc.
unless you enjoy soley landline communications, or via land based microwave towers, what do you think your cellphone uses to communicate? satillites with TONS of computer parts running them. let alone modern phones using computers inside them.

without computers your phone would never be mobile so you can call an airstrike in. youd need a radio which has a max range of... what? 50 miles TOPS
you dont think modern planes use computers? their entire interface is laced with computers, without them wed be stuck with ww2 style planes.

I bypassed it to get more power from my carburetor.

Power stearing doesn't work off a computer.
the main focus of a computer is to control fuel flow.
i.e. MAF (mass air flow) and mainly is to control emissions.
