Hi,

I have a couple questions about things and their grand workings.
I know very little about this kind of stuff.
Firstly, what is timespace exactly, how is it bent and what are the effects, and how does it fit into relativity?

Secondly, what is quantum physics, and what is used for?

Just curious.

Thanks.

Read a basic book like one of Carl Sagan's or one of Michio Kaku's crazy books, they aim to explain to the laymen what Einstein did and about outer space and stars in general.

yes from michio kaku read parallel dimensions this will help alot.

and i'm guessing ur a normal teen or even near that age of h.s.
things like these kind of topics are very boring when u get to read books.
you prolly love watching those discovery channels and etc about these kind of topics.
there are many other people who loves these kinds of topic such as me.
It's a wonderful topic to be thinking of, dont ever lose it and start thinking of a typical blinded, ignorant, life that really dont care what the outside of our world really is..
even if some do they would prolly change the topic once it gets out of their mind. you might be one of them or mixed.

for the reasonings on ur topic it is hard to find answers from this kind of site "d2jsp".
GOOGLE is the best thing i can tell u to do lol....

i accept responses, but not ignorant responses^^

spacetime is more or less what it says it is, but you consider time as simply another spacial dimension. I *think* ( i cant remember) that according to relativity, gravity has the effect of bending spacetime.
All objects try move in straight lines, or in the shortest distance from A to B, but when an object enters the gravitational field of another object, the bend in spacetime caused by the gravitational field makes
the object appear to move in a curved path.
Quantum physics is physics at the atomic level, where the laws are different to regular physics.
etc
etc
im probably wrong.

Quantum physics is subparticle matter (smaller than atoms)
Essentially, quantum physics is the inner workings of what hold atomic particles together and dictates why they behave the way they do. The up-and-coming theory for quantum physics has been string theory which dictates that tiny little waves (in 13 dimensions) vibrate and depending on how they vibrate, they create different particles and react differently with each other. Its hard to explain. The best way to learn is to go to the library and take out a book. I found A Brief History of Time to be very good, although it may not be as good for a beginner level. When reading, stop and ask yourself why, or how would this work/look, etc. Always keep asking questions and if people aren't able to help you, try to learn it on your own through reading, internet (although somewhat sketchy), etc.

Wrong. Gravity is the consequence of a bent spacetime. What bends spacetime is mass and energy.
