I was fishing, using a downrigger, the cannon ball was 150 feet down in 200 feet of water, when suddenly the steel cable started pulling from the downrigger
I tried to bring up the cannon ball (its an electric downrigger) and it wouldn't budge. I dropped the ball a few feet and then tried to bring it up, and it got unstuck from whatever and came right up
The bottom of the bay where I was fishing has no sudden drastic changes in depth, what else could it be other than a shipwreck?
The location is georgian bay, ontario. Colpoys bay more specific. I found a news story about this ship being found in 2018 in the same body of water where I got the snag.

Im interested in hearing what else you guys think it could have been
