today i found 3 geodes that formed on top of a volcanic vent!

Been watching after mineral specimens the past while, as side humoring.

Out to feature it or just go through the process of collecting and cleaning?

Id get a good light on some of those in a closed setting too, might spark ideas.

i just like finding cool rocks. i dont sell em or anything. clean em up as good as i can and make sure theres no bugs left in them then toss em on a shelf.

thought others might have something similar to show off

My kid found some rocks on the beach that look and feel like coal from a fire, but we broke a few open and they had some fossils inside.
Could also draw with them like coal. it was weird af
