theres no way there isnt other life out there. it happened here and theres no reason with trillions of stars out there that a percentage of them wouldnt have rocky planets in habitable zones with liquid water and organic life as well. the universe is definitely teeming with life and a percentage of it is surely intelligent.

its just that its also nearly definite that humans will never leave this solar system or make contact with any of it. the distances are too great and theres never going to be magic science fiction crap like wormhole portals or faster than light travel and theres no little grey martians like hollywood depicts probing peoples asses

given the vastness of our universe, it is way more likely then not that some other planet is the right distance from its closest star with the right mix to create life. this is the only reason why life on earth exists.
