why are you totally obsessed with this thread while never provided any actual evidence, proof or thought beside your constant spamming and trolling that jsp allows you to get away with. You're 100% like a possessed creepy stalker, are you this creepy IRL?

Stupid statements? - like flat football fields actually have a 4 feet curve to them - stupidest thing i ve ever heard - 100%.

Perfectly reasonable for some random local behind the school field.

where's your evidence that flat football field have a 4 feet curve to them, if you dont produce it - its just more proof of your intellectual dishonesty and blatant lies.

Where's your evidence it isn't.
The next logical thing to do for some one who doesn't get blinded by his own confirmation bias would be to set up a transit and check the elevations.

If you're going to submit this as evidence it's up to you to show that the field doesn't have a significant crown. They can be as high as two feet, and since he's walking away the distance of a football field, once again using perspective, a two foot crown would be enough to hide him almost entirely behind it.

This is why I suggested a basketball court, since it's far easier to control for local effects, like crowns in the field to help drainage.

http://www.stma.org/sites/stma/files/STMA_Bulletins/Drainage-1-Surface%20FINAL.pdf

Reference for field drainage being as high as 18 inches in case you were wondering.

If the crown tops out at the center of the field 18 inches high then viewing from the ground a person 100 yards away it would appear to obscure him by three feet.

If he is six feet tall, this is exactly what we observe in your video.

That would be impossible, considering the ideological company you keep.

The field doesn't even have to have "4 feet of curve." If you set your camera on top of it at one end, the camera view is already laying on a part of the curve, meaning that the view from the camera is not perfectly level in the first place, just level with that part of the curve on the field. Thanks for unwittingly reinforcing the fact that curvature hides the view.

Where and when I went to school, math and science courses were electives after the 9th grade. I elected for math and science classes every year of high school. So while Algebra I and Earth Science were mandatory, I had to take it upon myself to pursue Algebra II, III, a combo-class of Geometry/Trig, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It's a shame, our educational system.

Keep getting pmed by card_stupid to talk to him in some chat or whatever.

No real point when everything is a conspiracy, or doesn't work the way we see it working every day.
