Your very first source literally is somebody else saying "The earth is flat. The verdics said so." followed by a reply of just what the Verdics said - and it's everything BUT a flat-earth theory, from the looks of it.

if the earth was truly flat, would that make the ocean deeper than space, space being the area between land and the top of the dome
