That's a little presumptuous. You have no idea where I place blame unless you are a mindreader. I didn't really know what my options were at 17. And up until I was 41, I was a patriot, and would have given my life for the United States, on whim. During my career in the Navy, I didn't get so effected by what we were doing. I pledged an oath, to myself and my countrymen, and my ego told me not to pay mind to it all, even if I was wrong.
But that shit don't fly forever. After awhile, the "desensitizing" training wears off.

I'd like to point out, that during my research, I have concluded that "most" common men really don't want to be in a military situation. Sadly the system sets up a bit of opportunity black outs for most people, having not the money, nor the where with all to have the same opportunities as others, so they look to the military for a career. When they get out though, it's a whole different ball game. Every vet I've ever spoken to, feels they have been deceived. Feels that it was a ploy to keep an economic system afloat. After all war is the most lucrative business known to mankind. Human suffering is viable. Human dysfunction pays. I should know. In 10 years I grossed over 1 million dollars in the field of human dysfunction. Unfortunately I lost every penny of it to the banking cartel when misfortune came my way, through no fault of my own, and had to resort to savings to survive and take care of 2 kids as a single parent.

Of course, you kiddies probably wouldn't know what thats like would ya? Losing a loved one, that could have been completely prevented, if man didn't dominate each other, and set up a sick social system... but I digress...

So, Im going to discontinue subscribing to my own post here, because I realize I am in with a group, who simply is lost, and without real life experience.
Too young, too stupid, too much ego, and a huge DICK to wave next to their flags and gods and guns.

Have a nice life, hope ya get sick, and stay sick, then wonder why it happened.

Oh, it's definitely greed. If it were just survival, people would stop when they had enough to survive for the rest of their natural lives. Anyone with over $1B has absolutely no excuse to keep making more money if it's just for survival. That's enough money to survive and for your next 10 generations to survive as well.

But still they continue. Because competition and greed are very much present in our nature. Competition is essential, and that's part of what drives our survival instinct, but there's really no question that our competitive nature doesn't have an Off switch.

Those with undeveloped minds want what others have. Even babies want what other babies have, they have no concept of it being good or bad at the time, they just want it, and take it, regardless of consequence - Then will undoubtedly stop wanting it when someone else has something they don't have.

If they both had the same toy, I wouldn't be shocked if one of them decided it wanted two and took the other one.

Not much science behind this, just observational.

Greed is human nature, no doubt. I don't see animal's being greedy, they take only what they need.

What's wrong with a more pluralistic definition of human nature? Why goodness/evil -- either/or -- can we not be both/and?

more than that haha

I'd live a glorious life if i had $100M. I'd live a good life with $10M..a very good one. That's $133,333.33 every year for 75 years.

$1B is an obscene amount of money for one person.
