The plasmasphere isn't made of flames, but it sure as hell isn't made of a sheet of metal either. And calling electrons in metal "plasma" is a pretty massive stretch anyway that most physicists would disagree with. Either way, the point is that plasma isn't some impenetrable force-field you see in Sci-Fi movies. You probably think of it as a wall of lightsabers, but this isn't actually the case.
No, there's no such thing as a "degree Kelvin", it's not "an actual degree". It's a unit of temperature, but there's no "degree" in Kelvin. And no, physics is not a field where you learn to make stupid assumptions. I know you've never studied physics, so I'll give you a pass for not knowing what physics is or isn't about.
So if you know the plasmaspere isnt made of flames, why did you show a picture that infers you made some profound realization? Because thats your trolling technique?
Is the plasmasphere metal - hmm i didnt say that - but it showews that plasma can be solid - an in this case its called impenetrable - plasma comes in all forms form pure gas to pure sold
Cellular structure [of plasma]
Narrow sheets with sharp gradients may separate regions with different properties such as magnetization, density and temperature, resulting in cell-like regions. Examples include the magnetosphere, heliosphere, and heliospheric current sheet. Hannes Alfvén wrote: "From the cosmological point of view, the most important new space research discovery is probably the cellular structure of space. As has been seen in every region of space accessible to in situ measurements, there are a number of 'cell walls', sheets of electric currents, which divide space into compartments with different magnetization, temperature,
density, etc.
Impermeable plasma[edit]
Impermeable plasma is a type of thermal plasma which acts like an
impermeable solid with respect to gas or cold plasma and can be physically pushed.
If you can physical push it - that's like a wall or ceiling - its basic a super heated kinda like magma inside a solid that acts like a liquid, thinking its just a magnetic field which that artist drawing sort of infers - i think it just a way to get you to thinking its just a magnetic field.
http://news.mit.edu/2014/plasma-shield-against-harmful-radiation-1126High above Earth’s atmosphere, electrons whiz past at close to the speed of light.Exposure to such high-energy radiation can wreak havoc on satellite electronics, and pose serious health risks to astronauts.Serious - like death.
