so are you just assuming that the world is circular? I'm having a tough time comprehending why sphere earth is 'proven'

I'm not assuming anything, it's an objective fact in reality. If you disagree with that, I recommend to seek professional help immediately

so was flat earth until somebody just proved it overnight and there were people who could capitalize off of this 'fact' without proof

If you want to believe in flat earth, you need sources showing that it is. You just admitted you believe it just to believe it. No funding has been done on it because it's an evident lie. It's common sense The earth is round. I'm not the one needing to prove anything to you, the proof has been around the world for so many years. The world has funded alot of money showing the world as it is today. Countless videos, modules, and pictures can be found for you and your research that can take place. Now get off jsp and educate yourself.

I never said I believe in flat or spherical earth there's just more incentive for 3 letter agency's to have a spherical earth, and in the first post how can you disprove the optic? these are just two of many FACTS pointing in favor of a flat earth

there are many answers to this question and it can be refuted but generally its either connected to the globe, same with the stars or about 3000 km away around the sun
