Never bought into the whole 'christianity and penis symbolism' stuff. Seems more like an erect statue etc denotes power. I mean, I guess they could have done a Giant semi circle but it just would have been easier to go straight up.

Just watched this great interview on TVO - Agenda about how Canadian scientists are muzzled by the government and companies they work for, not really shocking to those who already know. Ever wonder why the only scientist's you know are Bill Nye, or David Suzuki? come on - wake up sheeple. In Canada, most scientific work is controlled by government agencies and big companies. This particular interview was about the recent disclosure ( and only because of the freedom of information act) - there was a 500 pages of email discussion by Government officials of whether or not a "scientist" could actually talk to the media. The actual interview wasn't even available on their own website but i found this video from last year talking about the same subject of How scientists are muzzled. It would be terrible if this kinda information got out and somehow influenced the national vote, terrible stuff indeed.
