it doesn't, but it does disprove the notion that humans just popped out of gods brain in their current state.
so you either think observable data isn't relevant(this is what dumb people do) or you make up excuses for the conflicting information such as "it's not supposed to be taken literally".
which leads to the problem of trying to explain how they know which parts of the bible are literal.
since they can't know such a thing since they have no evidence other than the bible itself which is the problem.
so the only way to defend it is to turn to bible scholars who apparently "just know" without any other information that anyone else has.
so you can now see how evolution interacts with religion and why it causes problems.
