why do you say that. are you just not into the quantum soul or are you skeptic of it.

Because that 'documentary' is full of very bad physics info. You surely must also know it was made by a cult right?

The only thing interesting about the 'science' portrayed in the film, is arguing over which part is the silliest:
Some people think it is the part about the indigenous people of Americas not being able to see the explorer's ships because it didn't fit their world view (that their ships were invisible!).
Personally I'd go with the idea that your consciousness can change the fine structure constant as being the worst.

And while it is an ad hominem attack: you might find this interesting:

Brought to you by the makers of What the bleep do we know!

have you ever tried to utilize the law of attraction? and regardless, after seeing that, she is clearly a hypocrite and a sham to that movie. which does make me question the legitimacy of the scientists in it. however there is "something" to it. i have been in this mindset for 5 years now, after my parents led me on to it. i can personally say, that as an individual i have experienced circumstances that go beyond coincidence. then i found all these movies(what the bleep, the secret etc) which kind of put two and two together for me at the time. however i do see now that as ive always suspected, wherever there is money there are lies. i just need to go to the Himalayas.

this question is a trap, although I'm sure you asked it innocently enough:

If I say yes, and I report that I have results: Your beliefs will be confirmed.
If I say yes, and I report that I have not received results, you will likely say I didn't try hard enough (blame the victim): Your beliefs will be confirmed.
If I say no, I will be accused of being close minded: Your beliefs will be confirmed.

I don't think you know how to determine coincidence (correlation) from causation, and furthermore I don't think you have data required to make this determination, even if you knew how. Humans are masters of pattern recognition. The ability of even a toddler to recognize patterns will blow the best computers right out of the water. The downside of this is that we are so good at find patterns, we end up finding patterns that do not exist. This is likely what you have done, and we are all guilty of this. Or to paraphrase Feynman: the most important part of being honest is not fooling yourself, and fooling yourself is much easier than fooling others.

just from experience, i only look at it as a way of life. an esoteric lesson if you will. i dont think its a scientific law or anything like that. which is why i view it as pseudoscience. no arguments from me or data sheets, and i do know why you think the question is a trap, a fourth answer could have been yes and you believe it to have some relevance but we do not know enough nearly yet about the power of our minds.

power as in watts? or some other fluffy ill-defined version of the word? One of the great things about not using well defined words is you can never be wrong, since you can just alter the definition when you are cornered. Anyway I'll leave you with this:

totally biased, i can give you one that says nonskepdic  but then we could just quote each other. im saying power as in potential. how much of your brain do you use?

potential what?

my example:

Person A: We don't know how many floobies that box contains.

Person B: WTF is a floobie? What units do you measure floobies in?

Person A: It is a potential.

Person B: That is not an answer; and for what it is worth, it is not a unit.
