I guess when matter and anti matter collides the result must be huge burst of energy, this is just a theory though as I haven't done any research on this

This is probably the best answer to the question to be honest. The collision of matter and antimatter does result in converting mass to energy.

Basically Einstein was attempting to find out why objects take more energy to accelerate as you get to higher speeds. He found that the extra energy used is actually converted into mass, later finding the equation e=mc^2. A good question would be why is that energy converted into mass in the first place.

ya if we could answer some of these questions it would be a huge leap.

and like you said matter cant be pushed to 100% speed of light because it would then acquire infinite mass and would therefore take infinite energy to accelerate it that fast.
