Yeah, but none of those ever had any basis behind them.

They were just random people thinking they could predict something.

This is different.

he will realize that he is no different and this situation will be no different, or he will continue going not giving a specific date but say the end is near.

Here's what it comes down to.  Religion is powered by faith, which is belief without evidence or even despite evidence to the contrary.  This means if real world facts seem to conflict with your religion, you must discount those scientific realities outright.  If somebody asserts that there is a supernatural god then they are responsible for demonstrating how this is true, otherwise we have no reason to believe it just like any other random and unsupported supernatural assertion or claim to special knowledge.  But religions greatest tenant is faith which means there is no evidence.

Wouldn't you call that ignorance?

Ignorance does not imply belief, whereas faith does. Ignorance is simply not knowing. Delusion is probably the word you are looking for.

ignorance is most closely related to denial. denial of truth and contentment in not knowing or seeking the truth.

Why does "Existence" Exist?

What does it Exist inside of?

What is outside of the Universe?

If there is "Nothing" outside the universe, how does that exist?

All interesting questions.

But as far as life on this planet itself goes, Yahweh.

you really sound retarded.
