you can't prove it either. so the default would be without evidence it isn't real.

to answer you, there is "evidence" that could be used. i.e. the world was made. how is this evidence you might say? well it is evidence in the same sense that some scientists use it as evidence to explain how matter collected after the big bang and formed planets...<- really short example yeah.. the variation of animals etc is also evidence...

What you're describing is not evidence at all. If there's a rock sitting on top of a hill, do you immediately think that God put that rock there, or do you instead wonder if some people put it there, or that rock was deposited by a glacier? If there's a car in your driveway, did someone drive it there, or did God place it there for you to use?

There is evidence of the Big Bang and there are mathematical models that accurately demonstrate how planets form in a nebula (like what happened in our solar system). There are documented cases of speciation being witnessed. This is actual evidence supporting something.

She said they were kissing at the time. I presumed that she 'charmed' him. I mean you would always want to listen to a pretty face and do whatever they say right?

right! lol

Did your dad ever explain what he disagreed on, the Catholic religion, to way he switch to Christianity? You can fall mad over heads for someone but still have their faith.

Grandma takes this personally how he switched Religions lol.

Well Mother basically asked him (They were on a date btw) "Why Did Jesus come and die for us if we need to earn our way into Heaven?" "Wouldn't that be all for nothing?"

That is when dad realised, "Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

lmao!

I have to admit but I'm fascnated by your parents relationship. Its cute. You have proving the point that ppl have to understand religion to disagree, which is sad tho.

Its shows little lack of faith for your religion when you agree their disapproval. But I have heard from others, people understanding and respecting others' opinion is wise person.

good chat!

You don't have to be non-Catholic to be a Christian (in the sense that you're talking about). I know some very devout Catholics that fit that definition and yet they continue to go to Catholic churches because they were born and raised in that tradition. Going to a Catholic Mass regularly doesn't mean you feel like you have to earn your way into Heaven.

He was explaining to me that people can change by other's belief.

I still believe if you have a strong faith, you will stay in your faith.

But sometimes people who is closed minded gets proved wrong....because they only think one way nver the other...but like I said....if a person is willing to be more open minded on others opinion...they become more wiser. imo
