0, 1, 2, and 3 are numbers that the simple mind can understand regardless of notation. All you need to see that is a child eating a pack of skittles.

The ignorant mind tends to have problems with numbers over that but even the simple mind can understand small numbers regardless of them knowing the notation.

Are you mixing up posts or something, i haven't even remotely said this. I said it seems logical that a human COULD, not that he DID, synthesize high levels of math naturally.

Its obvious that 99.999% of people learn all of their math from other people, there are very few original thinkers. What the discussion is, is whether or not someone COULD synthesize high level math only using the power of a human brain, to which i counter they COULD, so we don't inherently have to look for another source for the knowledge. Whereas if it were impossible we'd have to ask inherently, rather than at out own discretion, how that indian boy got that smart.

For the record I believe i've said that aliens could have given us math/tech like 5 times in this very thread.

you would say "I think, therefore I thought of it."

I would say "I think, but who made me think that?"

Are all of your thoughts 100% all your own? What if they are just 99.99%, close enough right?

If you want to delve into the conversation of implanted thoughts you'll need to expand with a wide variety of definitions.

Unless you're making a distinction between learned ideas and synthesized thought. Such as when someone believes they are original but instead the behavior was learned subconsciously. I fully acknowledge the brain's ability to trick itself into feeling original, that's common sense. From reading your post it almost seems you're implying that an alien implanted the math into the mind of a young indian boy. While i suppose that's technically possible doesn't it seem like needless speculation given what we know about the potential of the human mind from studying people like Autistic savants who in some cases lack all communication skill? I mean one wouldn't think its possible to memorize 10,000 places of pi from passively looking at a poster for a few weeks, but a savant did it. What i mean is that your stance implies we must need to explain this boy's knowledge because he conceivably couldn't have gotten it without help, whereas i think its entirely possible.

Just watch any awards show - after someone wins - who is generally the first person they thank? Consider the bible where they claim it was "inspired" by his word. Even the story of Adam and Eve, after she bit the apple - what exactly did she see? Alien or Fallen Angel whose to say but maybe they communicate in different ways then we assume. I know there are some very very smart people, but they idea that we might have been influenced into thinking that way is really really old.

TBH i hadn't considered precognition of angels and god's word, that's a solid example from beyond the historical record.

As a christian who likes to think logically I have always reconciled god's word inspiring the bible as god literally visiting earth and teaching his word through normal speech, but that's really a mechanism of mine to avoid the sci fi when and where i can with religion. Plus i have very few concrete stances in my own personal religion.

A few other films beside the ones i mentioned in that pm are Avatar - Are we Avatars?
Another is Blade Runner - when Tyrell Corporate president says that his goal is making his "replicants" -more human than human. And Deckard figures out he's talking about implanting memories.

Blade Runner : Rachel realizes her memories aren't hers.

Have you ever heard of mirroring? It is a very old way to hide messages within images - and actually de Vinci was known to write using mirrors so that in order to read his note - you'd have to hold it up to a mirror.

Yes! Yes! Wallow in your ignorance. Let it cover your stupid ass from head to toe. please! Prove the Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well in the way you think.

"Where are its feet?" what a stupid question - i can see you as an art critic in the 1500's, "Leonardo da Vinci latest work the Mona Lisa is trash - where are her feet? Does she not have feet? Is she disabled? Why is she smiling if she's disabled?" #showDEfeet
