Also, I urge you to not read a single thing about this documentary and just watch it. It's pretty fucked up and will wreck your day, especially if you don't know anything about it until you're done watching it:

Oh, and HBO is kinda commercial, but you started with the History Channel, and this is clearly not a professional glitzy doco:



Of these three, I'd probably most recommend Trouble the Water for the bigger picture, but the other two are pretty deeply disturbing portraits of small, individual tragedies. And this one will haunt you. Though not nearly as much as Dear Zachary, imo.
