Actually, alcohol is much worse for adulescents than marijuana is. Moderation? There is little moderation among alcohol consumers, and the benefits of 'moderate alcohol consumption' are next to nothing compared to benefits from moderate marijuana usage.

I never said marijuana is completely safe. I don't dismiss the claim that you can potentially develop a mental illness from excessive use.

part 2) - no, i've never driven while high. I am not stupid. If you're going to get high, atleast try be smart about it.. have your shit prepared before hand. You can't say marijuana is bad because you were too stupid to get your shit together and have weak will power.

You keep claiming marijuana will cause mental illness. No.
Excessive usage from young adolscents to adulthood could potentially develop schizophrenia, otherwise, your claim isn't well-founded.
Oh yeah, those professionals that used to prescribe marijuana, and many still believe it is the better medication.
And why is marijuana not legal for medicinal purposes? Because they can't make money off of it. You cannot patent a naturally occuring plant, hence their creation of synthetic cannabinoids that have unknown effects (Marinol etc).
You can patent a molecule thats analogous to THC but you can't patent THC. Those companies don't care if it's safer for the patient, or if it's more effective.. they're out to turn a profit and the way to do that is selling you expensive and dangerous chemicals.

About a year ago, I drinked too much alcohol, and felt really bad when I woke up... Now I grown up, and do not drink excessivly anymore.
I know some professionals are prescribing weed to cure some diseases, or help people that have cancer and take strong medication that is killing them as much as the cancer itself... my dad died this way, I know what I am talking about (my father didn't took weed, but he suffered much and weed could have helped him).
