Trust me, I hate veganism as well, but for what it does to the human body.
I love going out and playing pickup football, and beating eachother until were muddy and bloody.
I love going out to a bar, and geting a pound burger and as I press the buns together, watching the grease drip off the meat.
Your agruement boils down to the "facts" that meat is bad for humanity.
I beg to differ on 3 issues. Most things, in moderation are good for us.
Marijuanna is good for humans, so long as we dont over do it. Getting drunk
is great, so long as it aint every day. Eating meat is the same way. If you
do it every day, you may experiance health problems.
The second point is who is making the choices here? Arent we guarenteed free will
by our Creator, and both by the Freedom of Life, Liberty, and Property
(Natural Rights, John Locke) And Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness
in our own Declaration of Independence? So then it is our choice to eat meat,
and to enjoy things that may kill us as people. I dont know about you,
but I would rather live my life, and be happy, then be a gaunt burlap sack
and be miserable. The third point is this, Who are you to try to change my life.
I love meat. I love the way the blood runs out of a rare steak, the way grease
dribbles down my chin when im eating a Gyro. Who are you to say what is healthy for me.
I need my energy and strength to play football or do stuff that involves injury
Meat helps the body regenerate. Frankly I do not want to end up like a rolled up
used burlap sack looking human. I love meat.
Would you find it okay if humans killed humans for their meat? Would you love to have the grease dribble down your chin from your human burger?
