objectively speaking, it would be more unbelieveable that there isn't a higher being who made it all. everything about how the universe works suggests that it was designed to support life, somewhere.
That "higher being" you're referring to is the universe.
The universe manifested the galaxy we're in, the planets, us, etc . . .
Basically, think of us as little organisms living in another organism living in another organism
