And the idea that it is repeated by physics students, so do you have any proof that it ever worked or is it just a case of "here's this toy" and presto - this explains the magic but don't ever question the theory because FU, ok every other scientist that ever tried to explain anything has been proven wrong and this is the best idea we got and we know what we're doing!
Seems to me to be just a trick of pendulum rotation on a spinning earth, can you prove that it isn't?
