I'm not downplaying the downside of them at all, however in comparison to what most of these vaccines are protecting against an how vastly effective they are, there's no reason to fear the risk of contracting something which is, in most cases, lesser than the thing being protected against.
I'm simplifying for those less educated on the matter is all.
As for your gene pool, your given genes don't change. Yes, things are integrated into your gene pool with vaccines and alterations, however your gene pool at birth does not alter throughout your life. If it did, natural selection would have been null and completely impossible as every being would adapt to it's surroundings.
Fair enough, I just have trouble with the incredible denial about vaccine injury and parents being left in the lurch when their whole child's being has changed over night; even if it is an the incredible low percentile. What worries is the less obvious more subtle of these same reactions, low to moderate encephalitis type reactions, but this is pure speculation though and near impossible to prove, we can still not even prove or test for encephalitis/inflammation in people who clearly have it, at least without spinal taps and extensive costly immune testing. Anyway I have also stated much earlier already I think autism is likely due to reactions of many environmental factors (toxins, pollutants), with genetic factors, something has changed in recent decades to be making the numbers spiral. Some can even possibly be behavioral/misdiagnosis and treatable with the right care (hard to find).
I agree genes are fairly fixed but they also clearly mutate and change during the course of a life time and then can be passed down, radiation exposure is an extreme example. Everyone does try and adapt to their surrounding, just as every animal does, how well depends on circumstance as much as anything, especially in the natural world, abundance quality and type of resources, adaptations to threats, ingenuity.
