I'm not downplaying the downside of them at all, however in comparison to what most of these vaccines are protecting against an how vastly effective they are, there's no reason to fear the risk of contracting something which is, in most cases, lesser than the thing being protected against.
I'm simplifying for those less educated on the matter is all.
As for your gene pool, your given genes don't change. Yes, things are integrated into your gene pool with vaccines and alterations, however your gene pool at birth does not alter throughout your life. If it did, natural selection would have been null and completely impossible as every being would adapt to it's surroundings.

Fair enough, I just have trouble with the incredible denial about vaccine injury and parents being left in the lurch when their whole child's being has changed over night; even if it is an the incredible low percentile. What worries is the less obvious more subtle of these same reactions, low to moderate encephalitis type reactions, but this is pure speculation though and near impossible to prove, we can still not even prove or test for encephalitis/inflammation in people who clearly have it, at least without spinal taps and extensive costly immune testing. Anyway I have also stated much earlier already I think autism is likely due to reactions of many environmental factors (toxins, pollutants), with genetic factors, something has changed in recent decades to be making the numbers spiral. Some can even possibly be behavioral/misdiagnosis and treatable with the right care (hard to find).

I agree genes are fairly fixed but they also clearly mutate and change during the course of a life time and then can be passed down, radiation exposure is an extreme example. Everyone does try and adapt to their surrounding, just as every animal does, how well depends on circumstance as much as anything, especially in the natural world, abundance quality and type of resources, adaptations to threats, ingenuity.

Of course, our gene pool is forever adapting. New sequences being added, but rarely is it the case that our existing genes are directly modified in any way.
Personally, I can't stand the anti-vaccination argument myself. It has a minuscule downside compared to a massive upside for the mass majority of humanity

Such as? How common would those be?

Serum sickness and anaphylaxis, namely. These can be avoided by getting allergy tested before getting vaccinated.

Takes vaccine made of squalene and other harmful chemicals with a potentially active bacteria/virus --> gets brain damage --> blames it on the drinking water.

too bad vaccines aren't active bacteria/virus. They are deactivated lol.

Autism is caused by neurotoxins produced by bacteria in the gut. When neurotoxin producing bacteria thrives in the gut, it causes autism.

The reason people believe vaccines cause autism isn't because there's harmful chemicals in it that cause brain damage. It's because they believe vaccination causes an imbalance of bacteria in the gut, allowing harmful neurotoxin producing bacteria to thrive, leading to autism.

If you haven't read any of the articles on Autism and vaccination, then don't fucking comment on it

LOL? what does anything in your stomach have to do with autism?

Potentially a lot, linked to MS now apparently Parkinsons as well,

http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00401-014-1343-6

Gut brain connection is a big thing, potentially linked to a whole host of issues, your gut bacteria not functioning properly can easily directly impact your brain function. Of course treating it, for different conditions involves integrative medicine opposed to the singularity nature of a pharma drug, so do not expect much mainstream progress in the area.

not reading anyone elses post just going to say this : jenny mcarthy (an uneducated pornstar) self diagnosed her sons autism and then cured it with backrubs (some tai chi massage or some shit), and a healthy diet (whatever a porn star considers healthy) and andrew wakefeild http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMR_vaccine_controversy scammy as fuck, is the only reason this controversy even exists, look where it started, then see why i think this is a ridiculous discussion.

Philosophical? What a dumb comment, not to mention I am not arguing anything, just presenting possibilities and information, there are no definitive answers here.

Gut brain connection is complicated and I believe fairly new research wise.

All kinds of things can happen in the gut to cause a whole host of other issues, especially behavioural and mentally.

I am sure there are endless amounts of information on it online if anyone is actually curious, I am also certainly not suggesting this is a cause of autism, but it could play a roll in some cases.
