Nano technology development is probably the most interesting and useful research thats going on in science atm.
I d say that the use of nano technology in medicine world wide will be the next big thing.
I hear america is also developing nano tech army gadgets to spy on other countries and also use as weapons...
I saw in some documentary that they r developing some sort of nano tech that multiplies itself rapidly and acts like a virus againts different materials and the developers said that its a quite dangerous type of nano tech as it could spread out of control if its swith off mechanism malfunctions...
And they were giving an example with the use of this tech to iliminate diseased animals without the need of ppl to interact with the animals and risk catching a virus. (Bird flue or swine flue)
However if when the tech finishes its work and then malfunctions (meaning it doesnt stop multiplying)
It could theoretically destroy all life on earth.
Im just saying that nano tech is probably still long way from being used safely especially in medicine but when its developed to a point where it can start being used, it will most likely change significantly the way we live.
