You find other life forms on other planets, ask them who created them and they'll mention the same God as the Christian God.
.... Prove it. Why wouldn't they wouldn't believe in a Islamic God? or a Hindu God? or a Sikh God? Why wouldn't they believe in the many different gods of the Greeks or Romans? Why wouldn't they have their own God? or their own Gods?
Scientists who are atheists aren't trying to disprove god.
They know that the scientific method can't possibly prove or disprove god.
As such, it's a null point for them. Scientists, atheist or not, aren't interested in things they can not prove.
Furthermore, finding another planet with life on it doesn't disprove god at all. Nothing can really disprove god.
Even if the scientific community creates its own life (not cloning or splicing already existing life) but actually creates a brand new life form with its own genome (COMPLETELY POSSIBLE...look into the work of Craig Venter) ...that STILL wouldn't disprove god.
The reason why we search for life on other planets is simple. Curiosity.
We want to understand the things we do not know.
(We also want to colonize other plants ofc, but that's besides the point.)
The reason why we study space is the same reason we study the Earth. Pursuit of knowledge. It has NOTHING to do with god.

scientist are trying to disprove god without accounting for the fact god is known to every living thing in the universe.
Scientists are not in any way, shape, or form trying to disprove God.
Name one, single experiment in which a scientist tried to disprove God.
Scientists only try to prove what they observe. Nothing else. Since we can't observe God, there's no reason for the scientific community to even attempt to prove or disprove it.
Any self-proclaimed scientist who IS trying to disprove God, isn't really a scientist.
