Why does "Existence" Exist?

What does it Exist inside of?

What is outside of the Universe?

If there is "Nothing" outside the universe, how does that exist?

All interesting questions.

But as far as life on this planet itself goes, Yahweh.

They are very interesting questions and sure, Yahweh. But that's a belief, just like Hinduism, aboriginal creation myths, Zeus, etc.

However, try and provide physical evidence of God, and we can't. There are no photographs of God or angels, no fossils...about the only thing we have are claims of God. Jesus was quite possibly real. However, His divinity can be disputed because we have no modern evidence. And this is the point. Science relies on what I listed in my previous post: it must be observable and repeatable with predicted results. We cannot physically observe God and we certainly cannot replicate encounters with God and predict those encounters. If we could, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Intelligent Design and creationism belong in Judeo-Christian theology classes, not biology classes.

best to remain agnostic in my opinion.  don't settle on something without 100% proof.  which neither side has.

i suggest aliens.

stay agnostic about god existing or not, but their is no doubt about evolution.

what came first: the chicken or the egg?

its all how you look at it...

creationism: the chicken

evolutionism: the egg

if you need explaining, go read darwin a few times :P

simple breakdown:
religion is the most pernicious institution in human history. dont buy into it. if you want to believe a solitary divine being created some or even all of the aspects of existence, that's up to you. there is overwhelming and logically unarguable evidence for evolution. the origin of everything in this universe (observable), including the universe itself, can be accounted for by the laws of physics.

is there anything wrong with saying we dont know? There is no possible way any person on this planet can possess such knowledge.

Obviously existance exists because of the fundamental property of existance is that it is NOT non-existance. If non-existance existed, then nothing would exist. See where im goin with this?
Creation is impossible since the creator, in this case yahweh, needed causality in order to "create". Since there is the act of creation as the cause, and creation is the effect of that action. It is a logical sequence of events that demands TIME. Now we can say that time is an abstract human contruct, however there is no doubt a relation of events that follows a logical sequence. We recognize this as time and base it's quantities on our own judgement. God did not have time before existance, and would have been inhereantly impossible to create without it.

This is also assuming that we do not need time to exist.

So the logical conclusion is that creation in this regard, is impossible. Existance has always existed without a fundamental need for a creation or creator. Do we know why? No; do we even need a reason why? I dont see why we would. We exist, that is obvious. I dont see why it needs to have a greater meaning.

Evolution is scientific theory based on the most up to date observable evidence. The overwhemling majority of credible scientists agree with evolution in its broadest terms. Evolution also doesnt try to explain the origin of life as if it were fact. There is a likely scenerio, but we simply do not know and probably will never know.

Creationism is a religous theory that has very little basis in anything tangible and requires the user to take an incredible leap of faith to consider it true.

no actually many physicists believe it could be possible for humans to create new universes.

I stopped believing in omnipotent beings about the same time as I stopped believing in Santa Claus. You can read any Grimm's fairy tale and find them more plausible than most "holy" tomes. Too much total bullshit in the so called "Word." for my science minded self.

Evolution has mass amounts of scientific research that supports it. Although it is still a theory, right now it makes the most sense. Creationism is based from nothing but old myths and to be completely honest is a little bit ridiculous. Im not saying evolution is 100% fact, because scientists cannot prove evolution, but what im saying is that evolution makes alot more sense than any other current theory.
