You say we should "study life." From the sounds of it, you're describing ecology, which is already being studied. Hell, I've got a friend going to Michigan State right now working on his PhD in ecology.

We're working on ways to decrease pollution and waste every day. That's what the EPA is there for, and we're polluting far less now than we did in the past because of it.

Viruses aren't evolving just to fight us. They're evolving naturally and randomly. Whether or not we try to fight infections with vaccines and other forms of treatment, we'll still be able to find more strains of the flu. And as for "going so deep into trying to understand how to extract molecules and create other shit that we dont really need," I'm not sure what you're talking about. That's too general a subject.

umm what i meant about that is that we havent actually discovered any medical plants right? it was all discovered way before us, people knew how to use these plants without knowing how they work, they just knew that these plants worked
i'm basically just saying like, why should we know how things work? why cant we just find things that work? i mean i understand that it's good to know how things work, but then to recreate them using chemicals? why do we need to do that? if we just paid more attention to things in nature and less on how to make a copy of it then we'd be better off, my prof said that there are much fewer people who do these kinds of things now, and i find it so depressing, like...we should work more on discovering things in nature, than on creating synthetic things

i never brought in sexism. sexism is the belief that one of the sexes is inferior to the other. you must not know what it means obviously because all i said was female. nothing about females being inferior.

females seem to use more words when less would suffice is all im saying.
