Hawking is just the most famous to the everyday person because of his disability.
Because of his disability? Lol, no.
Hawking is famous not because of his impact on theoretical physics (singularity theorems, anyone?), but because unlike you and me and 99% of the world, he
understands the majority of it.

why doesn't everyone just believe in what they believe in? if ur catholic, christian, athiest , or what ever you fall under just be happy in your own beliefs and accept what others accept? this is how i have lived and im happy the way i am, to some accounts i believe in god as i have been so sick doctors saying i wont survive, yet i had my ex girlfriend stick by my said praying to god for me to get better, and the next day i was like a new person it opened my mind to new things i never used to believe in. but thats my little input flame or agree idc.
"If the believers of the present-day religions would earnestly try to think and act in the spirit of the founders of these religions then no hostility on the basis of religion would exist among the followers of different faiths. Even the conflicts in the realm of religion would be exposed as insignificant" -Albert Einstein
