why doesn't everyone just believe in what they believe in? if ur catholic, christian, athiest , or what ever you fall under just be happy in your own beliefs and accept what others accept? this is how i have lived and im happy the way i am, to some accounts i believe in god as i have been so sick doctors saying i wont survive, yet i had my ex girlfriend stick by my said praying to god for me to get better, and the next day i was like a new person it opened my mind to new things i never used to believe in. but thats my little input flame or agree idc.

Hawking is famous not because of his impact on theoretical physics (singularity theorems, anyone?), but because unlike you and me and 99% of the world, he understands the majority of it.

define the word exist.

in physics exist means an object that has a location, according to that definition, god does not exist unless u worship a statue made out of gold(or any other object)

is there any other definition of the word? i cant think of one

either way, christianity and islam have been hellenized from studying the greek philosophers, many of the modern ideas that make religion seem logical come from that

/e and on a side note, catholics claim that they are founded by jesus and that the pope is a successor to peter is not a proven fact, and more than likely false, so catholics are a sect of christianity
