I believe in all things in moderation.

While I do agree that the average person consumes too much meat, many of the vegetarians I have know have ended up with health problems/obesity as a direct result. The health findings of vegetarianism are a lot of marketing and partisan half truths compared to honest results.

Still, the land use is a problem and from that perspective I do believe it is immoral to consume large animal meat, such as beef, with frequency (anything more than once a week seems a bit gluttonous). Chicken and fish concern me quite a bit less in this capacity.

you need your fats and proteins. if you dont agree with the way that the livestock is handled/raised, go live in the jungle and fend for yourself. do the bear griles thing.

i bet your health would improve ten-fold.

stop eating foods derived from corn.

lots of vegetables looks like a penis so most of the male population doesn't want to eat them therefore most of the female population buys them for "dinner" when hes at work.

Eating meat, in itself, is not the problem, although it does have health problems associated with it. If I saw an animal dead on the road, and it wasn't killed for it's meat and died by being hit by a car or something, then I would have no problem eating it's meat. It's the fact that people are killing sentient beings for consumption that I find wrong.
