Well yes, it would open the door for more developpers, so they could just publish the games on the internet and link to it, would be easier, faster and cheaper for users.
And it would be dangerous, because "Adobe Flash Player" would get too much interest, so people would head for even more illegal things on the iPhone. They want to sell their products and not let another giant expand on their market.
And that's were other mobile device publishers may get on to: if they support Flash (Windows does so) they might be able to create competition towards Apple's applications.
No... To my knowledge, flash can't be used on multi touch. Or rather, Apple's multi touch doesn't work with flash. I read an article a few weeks ago about it.
That's why there's a giant overhaul to reprogram the web in html5 or whatever. But, according to this article
http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10154123-37.html , they're working together [Apple/Adobe] to try to get flash to work. So who knows?
As for the iPad, I think Ashton Kutcher said it best: "the device [iPad] is great for absorbing entertainment, music, and literature, but not creating it." It's a great tool for browsing. Is that a bad thing?
No, not if another company had done it. But it's basically just an iPhone or an iPod Touch. So whatever. I love my iPhone but I'm in no way an Apple Fanboy. I really don't see a point for it.
