The point of life is ones inner enlightenment. Without confidence in ones self, they can never be truly "happy". You have to realize that you take for granted every day you wake up, every breath you take, every step you take. Would you rather be dead? If the answer's yes, then pull the damn trigger you negative nancies.

I've heard that suicide = instant ticket to Hell no questions asked. It is a 'shortcut' to heaven in some minds. People suicide because this world is soo bad they just want to get into heaven right away, but instant ticket to Hell would stop that very reason to suicide. So that means that you have no other real choice but to LIVE YOUR LIFE until your time comes.

Life has no purpose, but nor does playing video games.
Life is what you make of it, like those do who are in prison (of their own accord).

I'm assuming your friend is under the age of 20.
Most teenagers go through a phase of "depression" :)

The only possible purpose life can have is the purpose that you give it. If you give your life no purpose it has none.
