I wonder why people in the southern hemisphere can never see the star Polaris from a flat Earth.

I wonder why people in the northern hemisphere need to be close to the equator to see the Southern Cross.

Yeah, I challenged him on lensing a few times too. No excuse has been forthcoming for me either, because he doesn't have one. But you already know that.

just because the earth is flat doesn't mean you can see the complete sky - you only see your portion of it - its pretty easy to understand but considering your low low intelligence - you probably never get it and you'll be fooled to the day you die , for sure.

See its people like you, is the reason they teach gravity in the first place - because you're too low IQ to get anything else, so in your case - Sure Newton got hit by an apple, gravity is real, never question anything and go drive a bus!

Oh wait you do - good job!

Here's you - "I understand 3d perspective - here my 2d drawing to prove it"
:wallbash:

Here's you - "I understand perspective, here's nothing to prove it. Here's a bunch of statements to prove I actually don't understand perspective".

three of these pictures are 3d optical perspective - can you tell the one that is not? Is to to taxing for your small tiny grey matter?

Just Google it. Probably find a better explanation than I could give.

I spent a few minutes looking around, but didn't find anything. I mean, the tilt obviously affects WHICH stars we can see from a particular location, but I can't find any reason for why the tilt would affect how they move across the sky.
The only somewhat relevant thing I can think of is that you get nights of different length, so there will be some stars you won't see in the summer because it's already (or still) too bright out.

You have no idea why the phenomenon exists. You don't actually understand why the hallway appears to get smaller.

Not my fault you are too stupid to understand a representation. You're not worth the effort for me to learn how to make visually stunning graphics.

Time magazine had an article that put the number at 25% - thats actually a lot bigger than most think it it's growing - like really fast - I mean I haven't seen this much traffic in the Science section like ever really, lol.

of course, cause you can only think in 2d!, You dont need to be a graphic artist to understand that not only is the perspective as well as the geometry completely different in 2d vs. 3d.

I'm sure he was very accurate with his statistics, we know how important to him that is.
