What if the world was 100% proven to be flat today? Would you stop or just continue whining about some other conspiracy you think is happening? Of course Nasa has everything to do with making you believe gravity and the big bang theory are real and that your just a speck of cosmic space dust. Its called propaganda. I was just reading about how they just found the "satelite" they launched 10 years ago that crash landed on this space rock, its wonderful they had a whole team of satellites ready to go that could photograph the satellite from all angles, and land on it. Maybe you could explain to me how a rocket works in 0 g to change direction or how a satellite travel at 30,000 mph slows down enough to land on a space rock without an atmosphere and travelling at god forsaken speeds. Or explain to me how two item can smash into each other and magically join.

Here's two objects only traveling at 30 mph; image how ridiculous it is to think two objects smashing into each other at 60,000 mph just magically fuse together. Actually i know how - they just need to put a vector arrow on a picture and make you think it's possible, problem solved.

30 mph is not fast enough to generate the required heat for fusion

fusion is easier in space as there is nothing in between the 2 objects, like air

I love the idea like how you think it 1000% possible even though it's never been shown mass attracts mass or that when two objects colliding together at any speed it just creates a whole bunch of tiny objects that shatter in any direction

So how fast is that rock travelling? How fast was the orbiter traveling? So would an object need to slow down or speed up to land safely? Please answer this question scientifically please.

speed is relative.

landing is just a matter of matching the comets speed though, I don't understand the question? ok so first you have to close the distance between you and the comet, by moving faster... then you let up on it to match its speed and carefully land on it... so both i guess? speed up then slow down before you crash into it?
