It's always possible they are bad molecules against pain but secondary metabolites that are produced are good molecules. It's possible we have misidentified the structures. Its possible it's all placebo and they aren't good at all.

However this is false reasoning, there's a difference between brain dominance and literally shutting off a part of the brain to extrapolate implications from. People draw from areas of their brain due to nurtured lifetime interests. There is a wealth of good research on this with regards to peer pressure and environmental changes altering people's interests. Brain dominance has about as much validity as astrology, which ironically is only somewhat valid due to societal nurturing.
