Why does there need to be a purpose?

And I mean universally why. I'm not asking why you want there to be a purpose.

Just because there doesn't have to be, doesn't mean there isn't one.

This is true, but refer to Occam's razor for my retort.

Questions like why is there anything? or What are the origins of the universe, are great questions, but the answers are unknown and perhaps unknowable.
Questions like these haunted me for years as I've searched for purpose in my life and all life on earth. I do not know. I do know life is a beautiful thing. Whats important is what we do now as we continue the evolutionary process on earth. Maybe that is our purpose.
But why? Why is there light? Why is there sub atomic particles? Why do we exist?

Maybe we are looking for something that does not exists. Purpose and reason are human abstractions. We use them to helps us understand the universe around us. But the universe isn't human, so perhaps it simply does not share our idea of understanding.
We are life. we live, we breathe, we feel. its mysterious, its a struggle, its beautiful. Life's purpose is to live life.

I came exactly to the same conclusion a year or so ago.. our purpose, is to live life as humans.
We dont have/need to know anything else. If we are here, if we are humans, thats already the answer.. thats already the purpose.
