So much of the debate circulating around this topic reeks of the old world scientists who would ridicule and disgrace the freethinking radicals who believed the world was round. Do NOT set limits upon your mind. 2% is already such a small amount of your brain to have access to. Open up yourself to possibilities beyond the parameters which science currently defines. By all means, attempt to project yourself astrally, immerse yourself in the sensation of flight. You will never be dissapointed by expanding your horizons.
Two things.
The "flat earth" theory is nonsense. The ancient Greeks knew the world was round and had already calculated the circumference of the Earth with a high degree of accuracy. The reason that no one wanted to sail West to get to India during the days of Columbus wasn't because they were afraid of falling off the world; it was because they already knew India was incredibly far away, even if there was nothing but ocean in the way.
People already use their full brain. That "small percentage" thing is a total myth. MRI's show that different areas of the brain are highly specialized for specific tasks/emotions/senses. Why do you think brain surgery is so complicated? If large portions of your brain weren't being used, then they could just hack through there and remove tumors with ease.
I'm all for expanding my horizons, but I'm not going to believe in something that has literally no evidence to back it up.
