For all we know we could be a civilization that wanted to escape time travel and live a normal life starting from scratch.

But imo time travel would be awesomely epic.

Parallel "universe" is probably a better guess as to what he was referring.

if you travel at the speed of light you will arrive in the future..or if you park next to a black hole for say..a month i think it was and came back to earth you would be 8 years in the future
