"wormholes are like dark matter and are only around to explain other things and not themselves"

Hope you're not saying dark matter is bullshit, because the effects are clear. Either it exists and passes directly through regular matter and itself without any interaction except gravitationaly, or our theory of gravity is all wrong and needs to be adjusted.
The only other theories are about extra dimensions, or runaway gravity effects.

like i said we see the effects not the it. i wasn't questioning the legitimacy but the way the theory came to exist.

i just watched this series from this thread alone. and wow, im sold. very interesting stuff. i wonder how many different kinds of species visited, or maybe it was just many of a one kind.

yes i saw it, and not that i blieve anything these theory crafters say, but firstly, aliens don't exsist, and time travel in the past is impossible
so the explanation I came to was that at one time before our current "history" humans were more advanced technologically than they are today and somehow that was lost, perhaps the same reason as the mass extinction of dinosaurs?

food for thought

Lol? And when did you travel throughout the universe to come to this conclusion?

yep we are too far away and the debris in between the next planet that could have life wouldn allow anyone to light speed travel

Faster than light travel is possible. Beings much more advanced than us could create wormholes or manipulate space-time (by contracting the space in front and expanding the space behind you, making you travel faster than light without actually moving, only space-time is).

Just because distances are vast, doesn't mean there aren't shortcuts around it.

traveling in space would be cool because there arent lanes like a fkin highway

its kind of poinless arguing against some peeps like psycho, he is set in his way and anything u say he has to rage and try to fight against it. okay than think of this. say if u had an aritifcial source of gravity , like element 118(look it up), and another source of gravity, say a distant star with a planet that can support life, if you were able to control that one source of gravity you could then make the space between the two points of gravity bend bringing them closer to eachother not having to travel the speed of light at all because it is lightyears closer. hard to explain but i dont care enough about what u think to go looking for it.

E: and u wouldnt need a wormhole.

if a dog walked backwards it would turn into god.

see i can stay stuff thats half true and half made up to. you cant defend an idea that has no backing other than the idea itself.

Haha I think it's u who fail to realize the vastness of space, yeah your right the conditions for life are rare, but there are billions of stars in billions of galaxies. Astronomers have done studies proving it's imposible for there not to be other life in the universe. I've had my beliefs that there are aliens LONG before ancient aliens has been on tv or some ,as u say, "pop culture alien beleiving bullshit" has been on tv. This has been a huge debate for a long time and I think the shows they have today arejust proving it even further. They are trying to decensitise us now for when aliens do show themselvs openly. I bet u the next one they have on tv are present alien encounters or some

psycho it's a belief not a theory u believe there arnt aliens and I believe that there are. Some 30 minute special never made up my mind.

there could be billion trillion universes a billion trillion the size of ours and i still think that there would be no life in them, but thats just me, u can ofc think what u want

im not forcing u to agree with me, just to consider the possibilities

the possibility of no other life in the universe is absurd. the only thing that you might be able to argue is whether or not that life is intelligent. even then its still likely that we will find intelligent life at some point.
