No, boisssy, the fact that companies use other companies' stuff in their product is a GOOD thing.

The more "parties" you have contributing, the more options you have. Take any computer. Everything is from different companies. RAM, keyboard, monitor, mouse, printer, graphics video and sound cards, speakers, processor, motherboard, OS, etc. And don't get started on all the programs you'll be installing and whatnot. Microsoft NEEDS companies like Intel, Nvidia, AMD to make their computer hardware, and they're OK with that, because no company can specialize in everything.

When Apple tries to do everything itself, it starts failing, not succeeding.

Computers are one thing, obviously its made of all sorts of parts from companies.

But I'm talking about Apple specifically they are not revolutionary, they are a company that puts together this thing called the "Ipad" and sells it for double the price. Obviously business is business, but what I'm trying to get at is that people think Apple is the shit when clearly they ain't shit, but it helps other companies make money from the parts of the Ipad haha.

And Apple can't do anything themselves in the first place, they don't invent anything besides their fail OS. Like I said before, they focus on marketing more than anything, they ain't revolutionary, soon their products will be "so last year."

Well yeah if you're not talking about computers then I agree.

LOLOLOLOLOL

so can we extrapolate from that and get that the only people who like macs are spoiled rich kids/people who can't manage their money properly? Or people who don't know anything about computers/technology in general?

You don't mention ANYTHING technical about why you think macs are good. Not a single mention of programs, software, hardware, uses, compatibility, etc. Means you probably aren't skilled in technology.
You completely failed to realize that maybe people who bitch about macs are people who think the price is too high and not because they can't afford? And besides, if your potential consumers can't afford your product it speaks volumes about the company.

Cost is a critical component of comparing any product, how ridiculous to just disregard it.

I am forced to conclude that you like Macs only for the simple reason of "They look good".
It's OK, a lot of Apple fans have this mindset too.

no. i really didnt feel like going into detail about programs and stuff because i have a life and not one that needs to be wasted on here.

im just saying overall, i've had way less problems with my mac.
it runs smoother and it has every program i need or want.
and if there is something that only windows offers, which is rare, i can just partition my hardrive and put it on the windows portion of my computer.
not to mention i can click freely on the internet and dl whatever i want without fear of viruses

and no, the looks arent that great on mine. i have an older model, but i still prefer it performance wise over anything windows.

Macs are overrated. I've crashed them plenty of times doing heavy photoshop work.

Personally I think that the Macbooks are pretty decent compared to a lot of the other non-mac laptops out there, especially for schoolwork.
A lot of my friends' laptops go to shit over the years and my Macbook black has yet to fail me :)

I don't really hate Apple, but I guess they can get kind of annoying with overpriced product lines that nearly EVERYONE around me seems to buy...
To be honest I think it's kind of pointless to go ranting about Apple wherever someone's talking about it. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Apple is good for some things. However this is a gaming website.

These 3 OS and their purpose.

1. Mac - Good for graphic designing type stuff.

2. PC/Windows - Good for high performance computing and cheaper and more affordable to the general public. (Gaming is what you use here).

3. Linux - For advanced users and people with a good grasp on networking. Also good for servers.

I am an avid gamer and networking major. PCs will out perform anything if you know what you are doing/buying.
