They're doing testing now, keeping some kinda short-lived flys alive a lot longer then their 24 hour life-span or whatever.. as for human use and it actually working, 100+ years.. and then it'll be like a billion dollars a pill.

Immortality will bring many depressing factors, ones who become immortal will have a very big emotional battle unless they understand that since there are 2 different tastes there is an infinite amount of tastes, same with high's and visuals and games etc etc..
