i've always wanted to get an alligator or crocodile and put it in my pond and cage off around the pond so it couldn't escape, but i think that might be illegal : /

It may or may not be iilegal. There are a number of people on the reptile forum I belong to that have alligators. Check with your local fish and wildlife department, they should know. But, make sure you do a LOT of research on them if you can get one. They require a LOT of food when they get bigger.

Ya thats a pretty good price. But can your beardie eat that big of a food item(adult Dubias are around 2-2 1/2 inches long)? If not it's going to take a year or more for you to raise the proper size(and have the colony survive), thats why I did a lot of research and just happened to run across a guy on a roach forum that sells 500 mixed nymphs and 5 breeding pairs of adults for $50. That way you only need to wait for a month or 2 to be able to feed out of the colony and will always have the proper size to feed.
I even give my nephew roaches to feed his fire bellied toad now.

I used to own 2 Iguanas. They grew to be about 4 ft long. Ironically the male was the nice one but the female would eat you alive. O.O

LOL That is ironic since it's usually the males that become shytheads during breeding season.

I don't own a reptile nor a snake but I had seen them personally. I've seen the biggest snake ever here in Philippines.
