wow sounds so much lik a manga im currently reading. its called cage of eden.

and i dont think there is a chance the dinosaurs are still alive because when the meteor hit, dust particles cover the air and suffocate all animls. not sure if its tru but was told that.

Are crocodiles not part dinosaur, id imagine they're closest thing to it. However i do not believe there are any like we know of.

Anyway, most scientists do agree that dinosaurs have evolved into today's BIRDS. Not just chickens. Obviously, the biggest difference is the size. 90 million years ago, for example, the amount of oxygen in the air was much less than it is today. Lower amounts of oxygen tend to facilitate massive size growth in animal populations. Since the air contains so much more oxygen now than 90 million years ago, animals have adapted to become smaller because giant lungs are no longer needed to sufficiently supply the body with oxygen.

More oxygen = smaller lungs = smaller animals.
