I have a weird facination with Giant Squids, and somewhat with the Megalodon. Things of that size, in an ocean we really know nothing about scare the ever-loving shit out of me.
I think it could possibly exist.
Sharks are not warm-blooded, and could probably easily survive in deep waters. Let alone the fact it is possible, and probable, that there is a large enough species to act as a food source for this beast in the depth it could live in.

It is possible. Only possible, but not probable.

The giant squid is a LOT smaller than a megalodon, and an entirely different kind of animal. That just isn't a very smart comparison.

Length is almost the same, but megalodon beats it

However, if you compare something else like weight, then yea the Giant squid is a LOT smaller.

It could be very possible, considering that there is probably an underwater cave that is a gateway to deeper parts of the ocean, which could possibly hold real live megalodons.
