You should maybe start to learn reading in the context. It is obvious that ignite the fusion has nothing to do with making a fire. It is just the activation energy needed to get the fusion going, i.e. fast moving nuclei collide and fuse, no burning involved.


And for the people here lacking basic understanding I can recommend the Feynman lectures. Maybe you should give it a try...

Igniting has everything to do with burning and actually burning with such immense heat - they fuse together but i will say if they actually understood fusion, every single nuclear plant wouldn't be fission.

Well the problem is that you would have to define what "burning" is as well.
There are things one can ignite and they won't "burn".
