Well here is what could work to explain the "Southern Cross":

Its like a coin, and there is a flip side (as suggested above), but since we would clearly notice the edge, perhaps the edge is kind of thick and rounded, you know like a slow gradual rounding across the face of the coin and wrapping around to the other side. Oh wait, I just described a sphere!

Profound! I think we've got it!
Now are the poles capped?

Do you? Could you explain how a theory is not a theory, this is why you are confused - because you think of it as fact, but that's just in your own mind.

Well lets look at the definition of a fusion bomb:

A pure fusion weapon is a hypothetical hydrogen bomb design that does not need a fission "primary" explosiveto ignite the fusion of deuterium and tritium, two heavy isotopes of hydrogen

ignite
[ig-nahyt]

Did I miss the part where it was explained...why all the water on the Earth, doesn't run off the edge. ??

Earlier, one of the flat Earthers (is that how you spell it?) told us the Earth was infinite: no edge. He failed to tell us which direction we need to travel to get some of that free real estate though, but that might explain the water not falling of! The best part is they switch gears as quickly as they need to, to explain the question at hand, no matter the contradiction this creates with their previous answers to questions.

Ah, convenient. I guess the warmer water of the oceans doesn't melt this "ice wall" :)

Yes, circular logic...always ready for the need to defend an irrational statement. :)

/e I almost hate to post this otherwise great book...here. But it should shake things up a bit. It's NOT an argument for a Flat Earth, but rather an easy way to understand the various dimensions.

Why couldn't this be about flatland not flat earth

Now that's a worthwhile philosophical topic rather than a flat out joke
