yee! haha although i dont wish death upon even my greatest enemies, there is no begining without an end. so, we have to see this "end" in order to begin our new begining as humans. mind, body and soul all working together as one. also the brains of everyone is going to be on more of a collective wave length, causing people to be able to "read" others. ive noticed alot these last 2 years that ive been able to connect to my close friends' heads and can usually pick up on what their thinking or if their down about something. when this new begining happens we will experience this alot more frequently i beleive. and im not trying to be cocky or anything like that, i just know that if the shit i just described went down i could survive. i know far too much about how to survive and just simply wouldnt let harsh times dwindle me off.

now, im also not syaing taht my theory is 100% right and everyones wrong (like almost everyone with a theory here). im simply putting peices together that are right infront of everyones face, and playing out the situation. shit for all i know a meteor could come on the winter solstice of 2012 and blow our entire planet into a meteor belt. but i highly doubt it, as if there truly is a man named god that did all of this, why would he let his fiest creations go to waste when he is about to have to watch them at the most dire time? i dont beleive in the man named god, like how western religion is played out to be. yes there is a divine force in charge of creating this whole mess of a universe we have, but its not god, or allah(sp, and sorry if me misspelling that annoyed u) or whoever these religions think god is, id bet there wrong. we probably came from an alien planet started as a test. they found a planet that was inhabbitable by our species, and they set us here to see what would happen. so far its been a mix of bad and some good, but we can still prevail as a species, it takes working together instead of all this hate we put out into the world. every body hates people for the most illogical reasons(race, religion, style, etc.) and its wasted energy that we could use in a positive way.

Make way for the future, world wide peace is what is NECESSARY for our planet to continue to harbor us. im surprised that the earth hasnt lashed out at us more than it already has (all the tsunamis, earthquakes and hurricaines and other natural disasters in the last few years i think have been mother earth telling us to stop killing her)

anyone else have any thoughts? im loving the way this discussion is going, alot of good ideas in here, honestly im super excited to see whats going to happen

and to add onto the religion part. ill explain why i odnt beleive in religion. its quite simple, the roman catholic church is one of the top corporations in gaining revenue. so if we as the people of god, whether or not we follow and give ourselves to him, are struggling and dying why will the church not step in and help? ya they donate but not anywhere near there potential to help others. their corrupt just like they were when the church first started. its a way to control to masses, simple midned, drug abusers looking for a light, etc. thats why the church cant be trusted in my opinion. they're no different then they were before. power hungry bastards looking to line their own pockets.

im not saying religion is full of shit either, as every religions story has many things that u can take from it and learn about life, honor, love and other beneficial topics, but most of it was just to get people to buy into what they wanted them to beleive.

The fact that the galaxy has mass doesn't disprove the fact that it's almost completely empty. For example, just look at an atom. Only a very tiny percentage of its mass is in its electrons, while the extreme majority of its mass is confined to the nucleus which is extremely, EXTREMELY small. I'm talking 10,000 times smaller than the size of the atom itself.

Then you can compare it to the solar system, where ~99.9% of the solar system's mass is confined to the Sun.

As for why the galaxy is disk-shaped? The same principles apply to why the solar system is "disk-shaped" in that all of the planets orbit in the same plane and same direction (though obviously on a larger scale). Read up on accretion disks, or if you want something more specific to solar system formation, protoplanetary disks.

Summary: It doesn't really "flatten out," per se. As a ball of gas cools, it starts spinning (to conserve angular momentum), and just like how the Earth bulges at its equator, the "equator" of the ball of gas bulges out. Since the ball of gas isn't a solid though, it spreads much more flatly than does the Earth.

i keep reading on my facebook that japan just had another earthquake, and see like 50+ comments about how 2012 is right around the corner and were all doomed. if people actually believe that then shame on you. i HIGHLy doubt the worlds just gunna end like that. lol especially all you religion fanatics, why would GOD our CREATOR wipe out everyone? nah that is highly unlikely. maybe well get his with strange weather patterns and then.... oh wait, were aready there.

as ive stated before this world is going to go through a shift, including the planet. it has something to do with where were going through a certain part of our galaxy causing us to have strange happenings or extreme weather.
