wrong that water is all on the same plane - exactly like the floor is on the same plane, it only appears to be raising optically

i dunno.. it doesn't seem to be raising to me, it just seems to get further away from me....

Correct it is not getting higher in reality, just optically. ballers think it is getting physically higher and dont understand the difference between 2d side views with no perspective and actual 3 d perspective

If the water is not physically getting higher , and it optical works the exact same as things on a plane - then if the glove dont fit, you must acquit - despite you wanting to convict.

I realize i need to make things simpler - so here's a visual question even a child can answer.

I don't care what the floor is doing.
I'm talking about the light and how it's not setting beneath the floor or even getting close.
Angles are hard I know, I'm not expecting you to understand it tbh.

Maybe card has some sort visual perception impairment that cause everything to appear to be uphill to him?

Well in the hallway , the floor and the ceiling are the exact same length and are close to you

In the Sunset photo, the water and the sky are visual converging because of optical perspective except the optical water horizon is much further in the distance than the hallway while also being much much closer than that thing in the sky

You mean how the farthest light appears to even farther above the floor in the middle of the hallway than the floor at the end of hall way?

Citation needed. Who thinks this?

You're arguing about something that's irrelevant, and that nobody even disagrees with. We all know that distant objects at ground level seem to be higher in our view than close objects are. This has nothing to do with the shape of Earth.

this has everything to do with the shape of the earth.....globetards who don't understand optical perspective, refuse to believe their own eyes, and believe that they see a sun setting over a horizon.
the fact is, we are seeing the sun move away until it reaches the vanishing point on the horizon. THERE IS NO CURVE.

Humans have limited vision, we don't have a Zoom feature in our eyes, yet, if we pick up some binoculars or a telescope, BAM, the disappearing sun or ship or other object suddenly comes back into our vision. The binoculars have NOT reached around a curved surface......THERE IS NO CURVE

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?

I understand it, and I know that it is untrue.
