Idk know how they calculated that but i know FE say the moon and sun are the same distance away and i can show you a video that shows the distance to the moon and it is using parallax and trig and the only difference is whether you believe the earth is round or flat

Concave earth is an even worse understanding of perspective than ball earth, but go for it - there some good stuff in there

What does water have to do with anything? Sun sets over land as well.
The hallway is probably closer to 100' away based on 4' wide doors but even at 30' the angle between light and child's eyes is ~7 degrees. and it is no where near appearing to set, the sun is over 3x that angle higher.

wrong, that water is all on the same plane - exactly like the floor is on the same plane, it only appears to be raising optically
