No you've given me instruction to a point - I haven't moved yet - see the difference? I think you're assuming the implied movement because you think people will obey your instructions.
The point and the movement are separate things.

has links to describing how vector can be used in about 40 different ways - I like your focus on just one while disregarding the others, it's a rather common mistake. In Biology, a Binary Vector can be used to show insertion of DNA from another organism. Does the fact that this definition exist preclude it use to show movement, hardly. It's basic saying the same thing - dna has been MOVED from one plant to another.

In mathematics and physics (the topic at hand) a vector is a tensor of order 1; a 1 dimensional array of components in some basis.

Next your going to be telling us the work-energy theorem is wrong because "work" is a place of employment, citing the dictionary as evidence.

The math definition for something does not preclude the use of the word in 40 other ways, you really need to stop assuming things and embarrassing yourself.

The nature of reality is not limited to just a single set of equations.
